FRESHSTART RESOURCES is excited to announce the opening of our 2nd office!  Our prime location is convenient as it sits just 1.7 mile off I-65 North at Exit 98 right on Hwy 31W. This location will help us conveniently reach the middle Tennessee area especially the northern part of Sumner and Robertson counties. We are offering all the same services at our new location that we have been doing in Hendersonville for 29 years. We officially opened our doors on Monday, November 5th just a few days after our 29th anniversary. Happy Anniversary to FreshStart! This new adventure is a priceless gift that will further the vision the Lord gave us in 1989. We hope you will drop in or join us for upcoming events.

As a result of your giving we were able to provide 30 families with groceries during the COVID-19 outbreak as well as help with operating expenses for FreshStart. During this pandemic it has been incredible to see people coming together to give and serve in creative and unique ways. We at FreshStart continue to develop ways to reach out to people in our community. Meeting with clients via FaceTime, Skype and Zoom has made it possible to continue ministering on a daily basis to individuals and groups. In addition, I want you to know that we at FreshStart are praying daily for our community, our clients and their families to be healthy and wise. Thank you again for your support both through your prayers and finances. In the days ahead please remember the words of King David in Psalms 3:3-4 “But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. Ministry at Sumner County Jail going strong….

Currently FreshStart Resources has 4 teams going into Sumner Country Jail 4 times a week to minister to the women in the Homeward Bound Program. It is a blessing to see these women flourish spiritually and heal emotionally. Gidget Stewart, our Director, is playing an integral role in organizing the women’s program as well as the special events for the students. Please be in prayer for these women as they prepare to be released and start a new life. UPDATE: DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC THIS PROGRAM HAS SHUT DOWN UNTIL THE FALL 2020. PLEASE PRAY FOR THE INMATES THAT WERE DOING SO WELL IN THIS PROGRAM TO CONTINUE THRIVING IN CHRIST.
