About Our Organization
FreshStart Resources exist to provide individuals and families with strategies for a healthier, happier life. We teach Biblical principles for living that develop healthier, happier, and more peaceful lifestyles.
Founded in 1990 by K.L. Gidget Stewart, an ordained Minister and Spiritual Director, it was originally established to help families who were suffering from the debilitating effects of divorce, domestic violence and other destructive circumstances. Today FreshStart continues to develop innovative programs that are bringing help and healing to people with a variety of needs. The Bible is the primary authority and spiritual foundation for all the programs provided by FreshStart Resources.
FreshStart is an ecumenical Christian ministry based on biblical precepts. We are committed to servanthood and do not discriminate in any way. All services are provided in a caring and objective manner to all persons. FreshStart is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 Religious Organization.
FreshStart Resources is committed to care for all persons. We are supported by a variety of churches, individuals and corporations. Fundraising events are held to supplement the ministry’s financial needs.
